The Silver Promotion Service (SPS) was introduced in 2008 by the Washington D.C-based Silver Institute (www.silverinstitute.org). The program was initiated to enhance the image of and stimulate demand for silver jewelry in major international markets. The SPS has grown to become the jewelry industry’s organization for silver.
A key feature of the multi-tiered initiative is the on-going identification of ‘Designers of Distinction’ and silver jewelry manufacturers who qualify as ‘SilverMark Partners’. These members of the Savor Silver Program are offered the opportunity to participate based on their commitment to the best in silver jewelry design. Jewelry from Savor Silver members is showcased in multiple ways including industry PR initiatives, fashion shows, special events, media opportunities, and at major international jewelry trade shows.
The SPS also works with selected retailers in order to provide them with the materials and information needed to further enhance their sales of silver jewelry.
